I am a born again Christian who has been called purposely to reach out to the lost in the World. My life is full of JOY and HAPPINESS because I have the very Life of God (ZOE) in me. To live is CHRIST and to die is GAIN. The Lord is good and His mercies endues forever.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
This is the good news Jesus Christ brought to us. It may be true that you go to church, give offering, do good works, but if you have not confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you are not saved.
On the other hand you may not believe in Jesus Christ or even heard about Him before, the good news is that Jesus Christ came to die about 2000 yrs ago, to save us from condemnation.
Through His Son, God showed us His love by making Him an offering for our sins to reconcile us to Himself. Through His death He showed us the way to fellowship with Him, and now He wants us to receive the divine life which Jesus made available so that He can reveal Himself in us, and through us.
However, the good news I have for you today is that, it is not too late to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour. Today, you can receive the life of God into your spirit, and become a brand new creature in Christ, so that God's beauty and power can be seen in you. All you have to do is say this prayer and mean it with all of your heart; and God will hear you.
O Lord God, I believe in Jesus Christ, your Son who died for me and was raised from the dead for my justification.
Your Word says in Romans 10 vs. 9 & 10 "...that if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Therefore I confess Jesus Christ as Lord of my life from this day forth. I receive remission of sins for my soul and I receive eternal life into my spirit.
I am saved! I am born-again! Thank you for making me your child.

On the battle field the gun sounded “paw” and Bert was down. He started bleeding and Bert’s wound was very fatal. The fighting was very serious along the Transverse trench” in France during the World War II. As Jim (another soldier who was probably Bert’s friend) tried to stop the bleeding, he was startled (hindered) by Bert’s dying request “can you tell me the way to heaven” since he knew he was about to die and needed to be saved.
THE QUESTION:
Jim moved closer and said “Bert I’m sorry I don’t know the way but I’ll ask others”. He ran along the trench asking those nearby, but no one knew.
The request was passed down the line to sixteen (16) men. None of them knew the way to heave. Think of it. These young soldiers from a so called “Christian” country could not help their dying friend. They were all facing death, but none knew the way to heaven
When a man is dying on the battle field he needs the truth. What we think make up or guess just won’t do. Good works, baptism, confirmation communion were not going to help Bert at that moment. What he needed desperately was the saviour.
Could you have told Bert the way to heaven? Could you have opened the Bible and pointed out God’s plan of salvation?
THE ANSWER:
Finally, one soldier replied “I know the way, but can’t leave my position. Reaching g into his pocket he pulled out a small Bible and opened it to “John 3:16”and said “read it to Bert” Tell him carefully. This is the way to heaven
Jim took it to Bert and said “Bert I’ve got it, listen carefully. Here is the way to heaven: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that who so ever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Bert’s eyes opened wide said “read it again” with tears in his eyes. Jim repeated those life-giving words. A look of peace came over Bert’s face as he whispered “whoever believes”. After a moment his face lit up. He smiled and whispered “I believe” and was gone from the battlefield to be with Christ! Bert Smith found the way to heaven just a time.
DON’T WAIT
As a soldier; I too found that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. He said; “I am the way the truth and the life” he also said “I am the door, if anyone enters by me shall be saved (John 14:16, 10: 9)
The bible says “There is no other name under heaven given to men by whom we must be saved” (Acts 4:12) It also says in John 3:36 that “He who believes in the son has eternal life.
There is only one way to heaven. Don’t wait until you are dying before you take Jesus as your saviour. You may not have the chance Bert had so seek the lord while He may be found (Isaiah 55:6) or do no say you are waiting for some time.
SEEK CHRIST DURING THE DAY TIME OR ELSE WHEN THE NIGHT DRAWS NEAR IT MAY BE TOO LATE… AMEN
